Stetson University came in at #24 in this year’s edition of the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for MIS for a Bachelor’s ranking. Stetson is a small private not-for-profit school situated in DeLand, Florida. It awarded 15 bachelors’s MIS degrees in 2020-2021.

Stetson did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #20 on our “Best General Management Information Systems Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list.According to our most recent data, Stetson University supports 4,462 students, and 48 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 34 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $18,001. On top of their other funding sources, 17 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program.

The low undergrad student loan default rate of [DEFAULT_RATE_STRING]% is a good sign that students have an easier time paying off their loans than they might at other schools. For comparison, the national default rate is 10.1%.

Florida Gulf Coast University did quite well in the 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for MIS for a Bachelor’s ranking, coming in at #25. Florida Gulf Coast University is a fairly large school located in Fort Myers, Florida that handed out 48 bachelors’s MIS degrees in 2020-2021.

FGCU not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #16 on our “Best General Management Information Systems Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list.Among the 15,358 students enrolled at FGCU, 362 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 232 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $4,284. To help with additional expenses, 0 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. FGCU does offer credit for military training for eligible students.

The school has an impressive undergrad student loan default rate. It’s only [DEFAULT_RATE_STRING]%, which is much lower than the national rate of 10.1%.
