In 2020-2021, 17,987 people earned their degree in computer engineering, making the major the 56th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, computer engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $73,143 and had an average of $24,685 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 3,297 computer engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $68,480 and $26,507 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Well Attended CE Major in the Southeast Region” ranking, we looked at 91 colleges that offer a degree in computer engineering. This ranking identifies schools that graduate the most students in computer engineering.
