In 2019-2020, civil engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $63,364 and had an average of $24,364 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 3,272 civil engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $66,469 and $25,042 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 2,282 civil engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,457 and $25,851 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for Civil Eng for a Bachelor’s” ranking analyzed 35 colleges that offered a degree in civil engineering. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent civil engineering programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.
