University of Toledo ranked #23 on this year’s Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for ME for a Bachelor’s list. Toledo, Ohio is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelors’s ME degrees to 177 students in 2020-2021.

University of Toledo did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #25 on our “Best Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region” list.Our most recent data shows that 510 of the 18,319 students enrolled at University of Toledo were GI Bill® students, of which 232 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $6,784. In addition to receiving other benefits, 11 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

University of Wisconsin - Stout did quite well in the 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for ME for a Bachelor’s ranking, coming in at #24. University of Wisconsin - Stout is a medium-sized school located in Menomonie, Wisconsin that handed out 71 bachelors’s ME degrees in 2020-2021.

Of the 7,970 students enrolled at UW - Stout, 305 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 133 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $5,590. To help with additional expenses, 0 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
