Across the Great Lakes region, there were 2,284 chemical engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $66,356 and $23,854 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,772 chemical engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,343 and $26,790 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Chem Eng for a Bachelor’s” ranking analyzed 26 colleges that offered a degree in chemical engineering. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent chemical engineering programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.
