Top 10 Best Nursing Schools for Non-Traditional Students
University of St Francis has taken the #1 spot in this year's nursing ranking for non-traditional students. University of Saint Francis is a small private not-for-profit school located in the large suburb of Joliet. University of Saint Francis not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #6 on our Best Colleges for Nursing in Illinois list.
About 1.0% of University of Saint Francis students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. 1,704 of University of Saint Francis students are exclusively distance learners. 1,980 of University of Saint Francis students are attending part time.

University of Illinois at Chicago landed the #2 spot in our 2021 best nursing schools for non-traditional students. UIC is a fairly large public school located in the city of Chicago. UIC not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #3 on our Best Colleges for Nursing in Illinois list.
The student loan default rate at UIC is lower than is typical, just 0.7% of students default in three years. There are approximately 19,768 students at UIC that take at least one class online. 5,712 of UIC students are attending part time.

The #3 spot in this year's ranking belongs to Lewis University. Lewis is a moderately-sized private not-for-profit school located in the large suburb of Romeoville.
