In 2020-2021, 31,397 people earned their degree in general history, making the major the 23rd most popular in the United States.
Across the Southwest region, there were 3,249 general history graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $0 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 2,586 general history graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,112 and $26,227 respectively.
