Hawaii Pacific University earned the #1 spot in this year's Most Geographically Diverse Colleges ranking in Hawaii. The school's geographic diversity score is 55.4 out of 100. On racial-ethnic diversity it scores 86.7, alongside a 94.5 gender-diversity score.
Brigham Young University-Hawaii earned the #2 place in Hawaii. On geographic diversity, it scores 49.5 out of 100. Its racial-ethnic diversity score is 69.2, with a gender-diversity score of 98.1.
University of Hawaii at Manoa earned the #3 place in Hawaii. University of Hawaii at Manoa scores 34.3 out of 100 for geographic diversity. On racial-ethnic diversity it scores 76.8, alongside a 96.6 gender-diversity score.
A rank of #4 makes Chaminade University of Honolulu one of the most geographically diverse colleges in Hawaii. Chaminade University of Honolulu scores 34.1 out of 100 for geographic diversity. Racial-ethnic diversity scores 84.6, and gender diversity 85.4.
Out of the 15 colleges in Hawaii in this year's ranking, University of Hawaii at Hilo landed the #5 spot. On geographic diversity, it scores 28.5 out of 100. On racial-ethnic diversity it scores 78.0, with a gender-diversity score of 93.7.
Kapiolani Community College ranked #6 on our 2026 list of the most geographically diverse colleges. Kapiolani Community College scores 15.0 out of 100 for geographic diversity. Racial-ethnic diversity scores 75.2, with a gender-diversity score of 93.1.
Pacific Rim Christian University came in at #7 in this year's ranking. Pacific Rim Christian University scores 13.0 out of 100 for geographic diversity. On racial-ethnic diversity it scores 87.6, with a gender-diversity score of 99.9.
Honolulu Community College earned the #8 position in Hawaii. Honolulu Community College scores 5.8 out of 100 for geographic diversity. Racial-ethnic diversity scores 72.3, alongside a 99.9 gender-diversity score.
Hawaii Medical College came in at #9 in this year's ranking. It scores 2.6 out of 100 for geographic diversity. Its racial-ethnic diversity score is 74.9, and gender diversity 42.2.
University of Hawaii Maui College placed #10 among the most geographically diverse colleges in Hawaii. It scores 2.5 out of 100 for geographic diversity. Racial-ethnic diversity scores 74.5, and gender diversity 91.0.
Windward Community College earned the #11 position in Hawaii. Windward Community College scores 2.2 out of 100 for geographic diversity. Racial-ethnic diversity scores 74.7, and gender diversity 92.8.
Leeward Community College placed #12 among the most geographically diverse colleges in Hawaii. It scores 2.0 out of 100 for geographic diversity. On racial-ethnic diversity it scores 70.4, alongside a 96.2 gender-diversity score.
University of Hawaii-West Oahu placed #13 among the most geographically diverse colleges in Hawaii. It scores 1.7 out of 100 for geographic diversity. Its racial-ethnic diversity score is 67.2, and gender diversity 92.9.
Hawaii Community College ranked #14 on our 2026 list of the most geographically diverse colleges. It scores 1.7 out of 100 for geographic diversity. On racial-ethnic diversity it scores 74.9, alongside a 93.7 gender-diversity score.
Kauai Community College ranked #15 on our 2026 list of the most geographically diverse colleges. It scores 1.1 out of 100 for geographic diversity. Its racial-ethnic diversity score is 73.1, with a gender-diversity score of 94.7.

Our ranking weighs the geographic origins of the student body (how widely students are drawn from across the country and the world). The racial-ethnic minorities percentage is calculated by taking the total number of students, subtracting white students, international students, and students whose race/ethnicity is unknown, and dividing by total enrollment.
