In 2020-2021, 73,172 accounting students received their degree, making the major the 7th most popular in the country.

Across the Southeast region, there were 16,186 accounting graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $0 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 11,157 accounting graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,400 and $27,180 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Accounting for a Bachelor’s” ranking looked at 210 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in accounting. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality accounting programs as well as strong veteran support.

North Carolina State University did quite well in the 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Accounting for a Bachelor’s ranking, coming in at #23. NC State is a public institution located in Raleigh, North Carolina. The school has a large population, and it awarded 157 bachelors’s degrees in 2020-2021.

NC State not only placed well in this ranking.
