You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend The University of Alabama. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Hospitality for a Master’s list. UA is a large public school situated in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. It awarded 11 masters’s hospitality degrees in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at UA, the school also landed the #4 spot in our “Best Hospitality Management Master’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.According to our most recent data, UA supports 37,840 students, and 2,081 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 1,128 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $7,975. During this same period, 357 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Out of the 10 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Hospitality for a Master’s that were part of this year’s ranking, University of South Carolina - Columbia landed the #2 spot on the list. This large school is located in Columbia, South Carolina, and it awarded 16 masters’s hospitality degrees in 2020-2021.

UofSC also took the #3 spot in our “Best Hospitality Management Master’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.Among the 35,470 students enrolled at UofSC, 1,609 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 651 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $8,453. Located in Tampa, Florida, this large public school awarded 7 diplomas to qualified masters’s hospitality students in 2020-2021.

USF Tampa also made our “Best Hospitality Management Master’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list, coming in at #8.Of the 50,626 students enrolled at University of South Florida - Main Campus, 2,211 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
