The #1 spot in this year's ranking belongs to Michigan State University. Located in the city of East Lansing, Michigan State is a public school with a fairly large student population. In addition to being on our best for vets list, Michigan State has also earned the #1 rank in our Best Colleges for Marketing in Michigan ranking.

Among the 49,695 students enrolled at Michigan State, 763 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 500 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for these recipients was $12,685. During this same period, 8 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program.

Mount Pleasant, MI

Central Michigan University landed the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings for best value marketing schools. Located in the distant town of Mount Pleasant, Central Michigan is a public school with a large student population. In addition to being on our best for vets list, Central Michigan has also earned the #2 rank in our Best Colleges for Marketing in Michigan ranking.

Among the 17,311 students enrolled at Central Michigan, 357 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 317 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $4,557. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

Our rankings recognize University of Michigan - Dearborn as the #3 school in this year's rankings. UM Dearborn is a medium-sized public school located in the city of Dearborn. UM Dearborn did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #4 on our Best Colleges for Marketing in Michigan list.

Of the 8,783 students enrolled at UM Dearborn, 181 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 118 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for these recipients was $10,539. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

The #4 spot in this year's ranking belongs to Western Michigan University. Located in the city of Kalamazoo, WMU is a public school with a fairly large student population. As a testament to the quality of education offered at WMU, the school also landed the #5 rank in our Best Colleges for Marketing in Michigan ranking.

Among the 19,887 students enrolled at WMU, 607 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 392 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $11,671. WMU does offer credit for military training for eligible students.

Our rankings recognize Grand Valley State University as the #5 school in this year's rankings. GVSU is a fairly large public school located in the large suburb of Allendale. GVSU did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #3 on our Best Colleges for Marketing in Michigan list.

Among the 23,350 students enrolled at GVSU, 482 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 309 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $10,102. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

Midland, MI

The #6 spot in this year's ranking belongs to Northwood University. Northwood is a small private not-for-profit school located in the small city of Midland. In addition to being on our best for vets list, Northwood has also earned the #6 rank in our Best Colleges for Marketing in Michigan ranking.

According to our most recent data, Northwood supports 2,541 students, and 121 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 88 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for these recipients was $5,925. To help with additional expenses, 2 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Our most recent data shows that 500 of the 16,294 students enrolled at Eastern Michigan were GI Bill® students, of which 256 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for these recipients was $7,405. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

Oakland University landed the #8 spot in our 2021 rankings for best value marketing schools. Oakland is a large public school located in the large suburb of Rochester Hills. Oakland also took the #7 spot in our Best Colleges for Marketing in Michigan rankings.

According to our most recent data, Oakland supports 18,552 students, and 331 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 203 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
