In 2020-2021, 21,099 people earned their degree in public relations and advertising, making the major the 52nd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, public relations and advertising graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $38,287 and had an average of $23,973 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 5,109 public relations and advertising graduates with average earnings and debt of $34,793 and $23,972 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 4,323 public relations and advertising graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,400 and $27,180 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Public Relations for a Bachelor’s” ranking looked at 43 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in public relations and advertising. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent public relations and advertising programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.
