In 2019-2020, computer and information sciences graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $52,893 and had an average of $27,324 in loans still to pay off.
Across Virginia, there were 7,695 computer and information sciences graduates with average earnings and debt of $52,861 and $30,103 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 3,618 computer and information sciences graduates with average earnings and debt of $39,553 and $27,844 respectively.

This ranking identifies schools with high-quality computer and information sciences programs as well as strong veteran support.

The school came in at #2 for the Most Veteran Friendly in Virginia for Computer & Information Sciences for a Bachelor’s. Located in Harrisonburg, Virginia, this large public school handed out 278 diplomas to qualified bachelors’s computer and information sciences students in 2020-2021.
JMU not only placed well in this ranking.
