Electronics Engineering Technology is the 130th most popular major in the country with 8,592 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, electronics engineering technology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $52,304 and had an average of $24,888 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 3,156 electronics engineering technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $47,803 and $24,500 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 249 electronics engineering technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,400 and $27,180 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for EE Tech for a Bachelor’s” ranking, we looked at 11 colleges that offer a degree in electronics engineering technology. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality electronics engineering technology programs as well as strong veteran support.

This large school is located in Charlotte, North Carolina, and it awarded 30 bachelors’s EE tech degrees in 2020-2021.

In addition to being on our southeast region bachelor’s degree vets studying ee tech list, UNC Charlotte has also earned the #3 rank in our “Best Electronics Engineering Technology Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.According to our most recent data, UNC Charlotte supports 30,146 students, and 1,476 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 642 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
