Our “Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for Engineering Tech for a Master’s” ranking is part of that endeavor.
In 2020-2021, 85,188 people earned their degree in engineering technologies, making the major the 20th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, engineering technologies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $52,350 and had an average of $21,560 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 8,913 engineering technologies graduates with average earnings and debt of $53,685 and $23,649 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for Engineering Tech for a Master’s” ranking analyzed 13 colleges that offered a degree in engineering technologies. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality engineering technologies programs as well as strong veteran support.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend George Washington University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for Engineering Tech for a Master’s list. George Washington University is a private not-for-profit institution located in Washington, District of Columbia. The school has a large population, and it awarded 89 masters’s degrees in 2020-2021.
