In 2020-2021, 17,689 people earned their degree in hospitality management, making the major the 66th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, hospitality management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $35,874 and had an average of $22,906 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 6,049 hospitality management graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,985 and $24,947 respectively.

This year’s “Most Well Attended Hospitality Major in the Southeast Region” ranking looked at 153 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in hospitality management. To top this list, a school must have a successful hospitality management program that graduates more students in the field than other colleges that offer the same major.
