University of South Carolina - Upstate tops the 2021 list of our schools in South Carolina that are best for non-traditional education students. Located in the midsize suburb of Spartanburg, USC Upstate is a public college with a moderately-sized student population. USC Upstate not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #4 on our Best Colleges for Education in South Carolina list.

About 8.0% of USC Upstate students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. There are approximately 2,156 students at USC Upstate that take at least one class online. There are roughly 1,431 part time students in attendance at USC Upstate.

Clemson, SC

Our rankings recognize Clemson University as the #2 school in this year's rankings. Located in the suburb of Clemson, Clemson is a public school with a fairly large student population.
