Lee University is a medium-sized private not-for-profit school located in the small city of Cleveland. Lee University not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #1 on our Best Colleges for Education in Tennessee list.

The student loan default rate at Lee University is lower than is typical, just 8.2% of students default in three years. 540 of Lee University students are exclusively distance learners. 1,411 students are part time.

Carson - Newman University earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. Carson - Newman is a small private not-for-profit school located in the suburb of Jefferson City. Carson - Newman also took the #6 spot in our Best Colleges for Education in Tennessee rankings.
