University of Louisville tops the 2021 list of our schools in Kentucky that are best for non-traditional education students. UofL is a fairly large public school located in the large city of Louisville. As a testament to the quality of education offered at UofL, the school also landed the #1 rank in our Best Colleges for Education in Kentucky ranking.
The student loan default rate at UofL is lower than is typical, just 1.7% of students default in three years. Approximately 8,578 students take at least one class online at UofL. About 6,267 of the students at UofL are attending part time.

Our rankings recognize Northern Kentucky University as the #2 school in this year's rankings. NKU is a fairly large public school located in the large suburb of Highland Heights. NKU also made our Best Colleges for Education in Kentucky list, coming in at #5.
