In 2019-2020, general English literature graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $29,881 and had an average of $23,769 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Far Western US region, there were 8,022 general English literature graduates with average earnings and debt of $29,222 and $21,099 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 5,144 general English literature graduates with average earnings and debt of $39,720 and $23,024 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Far Western US Region for English for a Bachelor’s” ranking looked at 60 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in general English literature. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent general English literature programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the general English literature program at the school. See our ranking methodology to learn more.
