Our 2021 rankings named Brigham Young University - Provo the best affordable school for Spanish students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in Provo, Utah, the large private not-for-profit school awarded 7,007 diplomas to qualified bachelor’s degree students in 2018-2019.

Of the total number of students at the school, 3.8% are international. The top three countries sending students to study at BYU are Canada, South Korea, and China. Yearly tuition and fees (out-of-state) for undergraduates at BYU runs, on average, about $5,790. The average tuition and fees for graduate programs is $7,290 per year.

With a freshman retention rate of 90%, the school does an excellent job of retaining its students. In addition to its Best Value Colleges for Spanish Students ranking, and one of the reasons why the school is on the list, BYU is ranked #2 for overall value in the United States.
