In 2020-2021, 52,916 people earned their degree in marketing, making the major the 17th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, marketing graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $42,991 and had an average of $25,213 in loans still to pay off.

Across the New England region, there were 3,773 marketing graduates with average earnings and debt of $45,712 and $25,661 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 2,889 marketing graduates with average earnings and debt of $42,403 and $25,944 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Marketing for a Bachelor’s” ranking analyzed 51 colleges that offered a degree in marketing. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great marketing programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
