In 2019-2020, education graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $46,202 and had an average of $24,437 in loans still to pay off.
Across Texas, there were 17,746 education graduates with average earnings and debt of $48,923 and $19,824 respectively.

Out of the 131 schools in the Most Well Attended Education Major in Texas that were part of this year’s ranking, Texas A&M University - College Station landed the #3 spot on the list. Texas A&M University - College Station is a large public school situated in College Station, Texas. It awarded 895 ’s education degrees in 2020-2021.

With a ranking of #10, Texas A&M University - Commerce did quite well on the 2023 Most Well Attended Education Major in Texas list. Located in Commerce, Texas, this fairly large public school awarded 373 degrees to qualified ’s education students in 2020-2021.

University of St. Thomas came in at #13 in this year’s edition of the Most Well Attended Education Major in Texas ranking. UST is located in Houston, Texas and, has a small student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 315 ’s education degrees to qualified students.

Southern Methodist University came in at #15 in this year’s edition of the Most Well Attended Education Major in Texas ranking. Southern Methodist University is a fairly large school located in Dallas, Texas that handed out 269 ’s education degrees in 2020-2021.
