Located in the city of Waco, Baylor is a private not-for-profit college with a very large student population. As a testament to the quality of education offered at Baylor, the school also landed the #1 rank in our Best Colleges for Education in Texas ranking.
The student loan default rate at Baylor is lower than is typical, just 1.1% of students default in three years. Approximately 9,716 students take at least one class online at Baylor. There are roughly 2,125 part time students in attendance at Baylor.

McMurry University earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. Located in the city of Abilene, McMurray University is a private not-for-profit college with a small student population.
